Girlactik was founded in 2008 by Galit Strugano-Wigdor, a Los Angeles-based makeup artist. 


Galit started experimenting with makeup when she was just a child, and she quickly became fascinated by the way it could transform her appearance. As she got older, Galit began to study makeup artistry. She eventually moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the beauty industry. She worked as a makeup artist for several years, and she quickly developed a reputation for her creativity and her ability to create stunning looks. 

In 2008, Galit decided to launch her own makeup brand. She called the brand Girlactik, which is a combination of the words "girl" and "dynamic." Galit wanted to create a brand that was both playful and feminine, and she was obsessed to make products that would help women feel confident and beautiful. Girlactik's first product was a glitter makeup line. The line was a big success, and it helped to launch the brand into the spotlight. Girlactik has since expanded its product line to include a variety of other makeup products, including lipsticks, eyeshadows, highlighters, and more.


The goal of this campaign was to highlight the ease of use and skin-caring benefits of the Girlactik product line, as well as highlight how they enhance your fantastic creations. We challenged creators to develop tutorial-style content that captured the effortless and enjoyable process of bringing these looks to life, along with photos of the stunning finished looks.


We set out on a major hunt for 87 micro influencers ranging in age from 18-35 and based in the United States. They also had to have an affinity for beauty and makeup. Most importantly, they needed to bring something special to the table through high-quality content creation.

They demonstrated how effortlessly Girlactik products can be used to create glamorous looks in just 5 minutes, from start to finish. Through their stunning looks, authentic reviews, creative tutorials, and enthusiastic participation, these creators played a pivotal role in generating significant awareness, interest, and purchase intent for Girlactik in a cost-effective manner.


Across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, Creators generated 500+ impactful posts. These posts garnered over 3 million long-lasting impressions and engaged with audiences through more than 300,000 interactions. As a result, the campaign successfully elevated Girlactik's brand awareness and heightened purchase intent among its target audience.

The success of this campaign is clear: a 7.9X ROAS, 35% more website visits, and an approximately 20% sales jump.
