California Privacy Notice

Introduction

This California Privacy Notice (“Notice”) is for California residents and supplements our Privacy Policy. It explains how we collect and use your Personal Information and how you can exercise your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”).

Categories of Personal Information Collected

The CCPA requires that we list the categories of Personal Information we’ve collected about California residents in the preceding 12 months.

  • Identifiers: Examples include name, username, email address, IP address, and cookie ID.
  • Commercial information: This includes information about products or services purchased or considered.
  • Internet or other electronic network activity information: This includes information about your interaction on our Products, and information from cookies and other tracking technologies.
  • Locations: Including IP-based location information or, where you’ve provided us with your consent through your device settings, precise GPS location.
  • Professional or employment information.
  • Other information that identifies or can be reasonably associated with you.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use your Personal Information for several business purposes as described in our Privacy Policy, including:

  • Performing our services: Maintaining or servicing accounts, providing customer service, processing or fulfilling orders and transactions, verifying user information, processing payments, and providing advertising, analytics, or similar services.
  • Auditing: Auditing related to a current interaction with you and concurrent transactions.
  • Security: Detecting security incidents, protecting against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, and prosecuting those responsible for that activity.
  • Debugging: Debugging to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.
  • Short-term and transient use.
  • Quality and safety: Activities to verify or maintain the quality or safety of our services, and to improve, upgrade, or enhance those services.
  • Research: Undertaking internal research for technological development and demonstration.

Who We Share Personal Information With

Under the CCPA, "sharing" information includes "selling" as well as sharing for "business purposes." We do not "sell" Personal Information, as that term is traditionally understood. However, we do share Personal Information with the following categories of third parties for the business purposes described above:

  • Partners, including partners who use our analytics services, advertisers, measurement partners, partners offering goods and services in our Products, vendors and service providers, and researchers and academics.
  • Law enforcement or other third parties in connection with legal requests.

Source of Personal Information

We receive Personal Information from the information that you and others provide, from your device(s), and from our partners. The categories of sources from which we’ve collected or received Personal Information include:

  • You: We collect the content, communications, and other information you provide while you use our product, this may include the information you provide when you sign up for an account, create and/or share content, message or communicate with other users.
  • Other people: We may also receive and analyze content, communications, and information about you that other people provide that connects with you when they use our products.
  • Your device(s): We collect information from and about the computers, phones, connected TVs, and other web-connected devices you use that integrate with our Products.
  • Partners: Advertisers, app developers, business partners and other partners can send us information for business purposes.

Your Rights Under the CCPA

Under the CCPA, you have the following rights:

  • Right to know: You have the right to request that we disclose to you the Personal Information we collect, use, or disclose, and information about our data practices.
  • Right to Request Deletion: You have the right to request that we delete your Personal Information that we have collected from you;
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Please note that to protect your information and the integrity of our product, we may need to verify your identity and information before processing your request.


Children

The Service applies the same as our general Privacy Policy which is not directed toward children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children 13 years or younger. If you are under 13 years of age, you are not permitted to submit any Personal Information to us.
